...I believe in the sand beneath my toes The beach gives a feeling An earthy feeling I believe in the faith that grows... Matthew 16:25 If you try to keep your life for yourself, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for me, you will find true life.

Finally, a night when I have time to sit and look at this white screen again. The text fills up the page line by line, and its calming. Something about the punch of the keys or other because two math classes and biology would never give me this opportunity. It's a nice break from the haste of life.
I did nearly everything I wanted to do today. Biology class began at 10:40. A quick lunch followed at Cox, then I hit the dorm for some homework before going to the Math/Sci building for Linear Algebra. The rest of classes, religion and economics, wrapped up at 4:00, and Monday was just beginning.
The late afternoon was spent doing homework. Drawing up numbers to make sense of determinants and interpretting economics graphs were easier than expected. For once, I dare say I'm ahead of homework. But, tomorrow will come and back to the work, think-tank of Emory I go. Work is good, in moderation of course. I confidently say I've combatted the work play ethic and resolved some sort of balance between them (without sacrificing sleep). It's more of a recurring war, but I've got the upper hand for now.
And all this work and play...to become a doctor? If anything just be sure that a typewriter is somewhere in my office.
